On the first weekend of August I have made the decission to rent a car thru Alamo.
Due to a special agreement between them and my employer I used the company rate to get benefits you normally
have to pay for. However you should have at least a CDW ("Collision Damage Waver")
and a insurance like an "Extended Protection (an optional insurance protection
provides the renter and authorized drivers with third party liability protection).
First station is the Golden Gate National Cemetery
- a place where more than hundred of thousands people are buried. It's a huge area. Therefore you can access
that cemetry by car and driving around it. After lunch (having a footlong sub with roasted ham by the way) the race went on.
Next destination: driving along western area of San Francisco / Ocean Beach and passing by the Golden Gate Park
in the west. Once I arrived at Presidio District the gorgeous beauty of all these mansions in that pretty neat and nice neighbourhood overcomes one. The trip
goes on and as not far as 2 miles you can enjoy the summer at China Beach - a less crowded spot
but in my eyes as less attractive than Ocean Beach though. That Presidio isn't bad at all is shown by
the fact that can have a look at the Golden Gate Bridge while playing a match on the golf course.
Back on road the last part of this day trip is an abandoned neighbourhood of old-style houses.
It looks that this place has formerly been a military property but now it is accessibly to everybody.
And sometimes somebody takes the chance to play a short match on it.
What happened on day after? Figure it out - Continue here...
